Set in a desolate space, with only a tree as witness, WFG unfolds over the course of two days. A figure waits, a symbol of exhaustion and desire, while lip-sync tributes erupt like ruptures in time, honoring members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community lost to depression.
This performance reimagines Beckett’s eternal waiting as a queer ritual of survival. Here, waiting is for acceptance, love, and the small permission to stay alive one more night.
What begins as a ritual becomes a haunting. WFG is a drag requiem, a witness, and a celebration of those who could not stay. It is not only a show, it is a vigil.
The performance asks:
What are we waiting for? Who are we waiting for?
And if you’re here tonight… could it be that you are Godot?
